What is the type of screen on the Reno8 T?
The Reno8 T has a 3D curved AMOLED screen on its front. It is more curved than the 2.5D screens but not too curved to be unusable. I found the curvature to be perfect as the curve gives the Reno8 T a premium look while being functional.
I call the 3D curved screen on the phone functional because the curvature is not a hindrance to viewability
Where is the fingerprint sensor on the OPPO Reno8 T?
The fingerprint sensor on the Reno8 T is placed on the front of the screen itself. It is placed about 2 cm from the bottom of the phone. The fingerprint sensor on the Reno8 T has a quick response and never had a problem with the sensor.
Does Oppo Reno 8T support 5G?
Yes, the Reno8 T supports all the Indian 5G bands. I have been using the phone mostly in 5G and the phone is comfortably holding on to 5G without any issues.
Can the camera of OPPO Reno8 T do Zoom?
I am not 100% sure but I think the camera has about 6x digital zoom. It is available only when you shoot in the 12MP mode. There is no zoom if the photo is taken at 108MP resolution
Is there an option to enable automatic call recording?
There is no default option to enable call recording. But you can install the ODialer app from the play store which supports automatic call recording without announcement.
Does Oppo Reno 8T have a memory card slot?
Yes, the second SIM slot can double as a memory card slot. It can hold memory cards of up to 1 TB in size.
What is the version of Android on the OPPO Reno8 T Reno8 T
The Reno8 T comes with ColorOS 13.0 based on Android 13. At the time of writing this post, The Reno8 T has received a security patch for April 2023
Can I record 4K videos?
No, you cannot record 4K videos on the Reno8 T. You can record videos at 720p and 1080p. There is no option to change the frame rate either.
Is there image stabilization?
Before the arrival of the first update, there was no stabilization for either images or videos on the Reno8 T. But after a few updates, there is some amount of stabilization for both videos and photos. But with the stabilization ON, I felt like the videos are too soft.
Is Reno 8T 5G waterproof?
The Phone is rated IP54 which means there is some protection from elements in the Reno8 T.
Does OPPO Reno8T have Gorilla Glass?
The OPPO Reno8T has reinforced glass on the screen called Dragontrail glass. It is not Gorilla Glass. But it has similar strength properties to the Gorilla Glass
The phone has undergone multiple durability tests so it does have durable glass at the front
