The Oppo Reno8 T comes in two colors, Sunrise Gold and Midnight Black. The unit I received is a Sunrise Gold version. I feel lucky to have received this version (sorry to everyone who has the Midnight Black version, it also looks gorgeous)
The sunrise gold version looks gold (duh!) at first glance but deep down it is much more than that. It can reflect different colors depending upon the angle by which the light falls on it.
Here is a first-look video
What is the mechanism behind this multi-color look?
There are two layers of coating on the bank panel of OPPO Reno8 T’s Sunrise Gold color. One of them reflects violet and blue. The other one reflects yellow and red. These two layers together reflect light so that the reflected colors can even be used to construct a full rainbow.
You can see in the images that the texture around the camera area (where the two camera modules are present) is another design marvel. It can also reflect many colors but works in an entirely different way from the rest.
There is chrome covering on all the sides of the OPPO Reno8 T which also complements the premium look of the phone.
Overall the color scheme of oppo Reno8 T which is the Sunrise Gold color brings a refreshing new look to the phone.
